Sales Manager for the Transport Division

Hamburg, Copenhagen or Ebeltoft

We are looking for a sales manager to join our Transport Division, focusing predominantly on the Maritime segment, including Offshore, Cruise and Merchant vessels.

Your position
As Sales Manager for the Transport Division you will be part of a small but highly specialised sales team. Your position will in due time carry the responsibility of maintaining existing key Transport Division customers, whilst searching for, and qualifying new potential customers in the Transport segment.

Your position is matrix based, working across borders with Kvadrat subsidiaries in selected countries within the EU. You have to be flexible and willing to work outside normal hours, travelling to assigned markets and participating in exhibitions and conferences approximately 100 days a year.

Your background
Preferably, you have experience in communicating with influencers in the maritime segment and/or architects and designers. You have just finished a mercantile degree or you have had or currently hold a sales orientated job. You should be experienced in the basics of project sales, a good communicator and capable of maintaining focus on concluding the business on multiple tasks simultaneously.

You ideally have an interest and knowledge of and understanding for design driven products with a high level of quality. It is essential that you can accept an at times very busy travelling schedule and are flexible in planning your workdays. Your base will be our showroom in Copenhagen or Hamburg or our headquarters in Ebeltoft, Denmark.

Your profile
As a person, you categorise yourself as being hard working, efficient, structured and professional. You are willing to learn from your colleagues and you have a passion for sales. With the right results and effort, you want to position yourself for a senior role within Kvadrat. You are able to convey the Kvadrat message and philosophy to an at times sceptical audience.

You speak English and German fluently and you are capable of making the right decision fast. You work well on your own, but see the benefit in being part of a closely knit team. You are able to network well, both outside and inside our organisation. As a person, you have a positive approach, and a wish to become part of a successful team with potential for growth. You have a driver’s licence.
