Account Manager Contract

Brussels, Wallonia and Luxembourg

We are looking for a contract account manager to cover the region Brussels, Wallonia and Luxembourg.

Your job will be to strengthen and develop our primary position in the contract market through contact with architects, interior architects and designers specialising in the office, hospitality, shop fitting and healthcare segments. Each project will involve a close collaboration with furniture manufacturers, subcontractors and end users.

We are looking for a committed person, experienced in contract market sales to advise an extensive and competent customer base in the fields of textiles, design, building components and acoustics. Through your work targeting the corporate office business, you will cooperate with some of the top architectural firms and the biggest end users in Brussels and Luxembourg. The architectural practices are in charge of specification project planning throughout the world and demand your professional service, advice and sales.

From day one you will be responsible for a significant client database. You will be thoroughly educated in our offices in Antwerp and Amsterdam as well as in our headquarters in Denmark.

Job description

You will maintain and develop our relationship to well-known architects and interior designers

You will present, inspire and advise them on upholstery from Kvadrat and Maharam, curtains Kvadrat and Kinnasand, rugs Danskina and Kinnasand, and Soft Cells – the ideal solution for acoustics in building architecture

You will be responsible to follow up the tendering process and the service of the Decision Making Unit, end users, contractors and installers

You will handle project management from planning through to order

You will also be responsible for cultivating new business relations

You will work with your internal sales support and ensure that the information is registered in our CRM

You are determined to meet our global sales indicators

You will attend furniture fairs such as Interieur Kortrijk and Orgatec Cologne

You are ambitious, hardworking, goal-oriented, positive, honest, determined and ready to dedicate yourself to Kvadrat in the long time

You have good sense of colours, quality, aesthetics and design

You are highly motivated to cooperate closely with clients You can organise well, work independently and accurately, but also as a team player

You show personal dedication at all times You have contract sales experience and a great platform of relationships in the Brussels and Luxembourg market

You like to be on the road in Brussels, Wallonia and Luxembourg, you can use the showroom in Antwerp

Skills required
Knowledge and/or interest in all textile-related interior solutions for public and non-public projects like offices, auditoriums, hotels, hospitals & elderly homes

Feeling for high end acoustic solutions

Excellent communication skills in French and Dutch Good English skills, both in oral and writing

Committed, focused and strategic approach to project management, with ability to develop long-term relations and the desire to work independently with sales

Strong ability to liaise in the B2B contract business working with architects, designers, contractors, office furniture brands and professional end consumers

Background and interest in learning IT applications like Excel, Axapta, Targit, and reading architectural drawings, reports etc.

Carrying the heavy Samsonite suitcase with all the textiles in, requires a strong back
