Account Manager Retail


We are looking for an Account Manager for the Retail market, based in Tokyo.

Job description
Your job will be to develop Kvadrat’s Retail market in Japan, looking after both new and existing clients. At Kvadrat, you can expect an exceptional sales challenge in a growthoriented group with modern management and opportunity for development.

We offer a specialized training program at our HQ in Denmark as well as training in Japan. You will be working with one of the most successful and beautiful textile collections on the market today.

We offer you a job with a high level of independence based in our office and showroom in Aoyama, Tokyo.

Your role as Account Manager Retail is to develop the Japanese Retail market with a wide collection of fabrics, curtains and rugs through sales efforts, training and PR support. You will work with your personal internal support/back-up to ensure that all necessary information is registered in our CRM (Customer Relationship Management). Finally, you need to meet the requirements of our Global Sales Indicators (number of meetings, sales per product group, etc.).

Experience and skills required

Experience of at least 2 years or more in the interior Retail business

Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese (native), both spoken and written

Ability to liaise with shop owners, shop staff and end users

Experience with textiles and/or curtains is a big plus
