Architectural Support Scandinavia – Curtain and Roller Blind Solutions


For our Scandinavian sales team we are looking for an Architectural Support person for our curtain and roller blind product group.

Job description
Your job will be to supply technical support concerning curtains and roller blinds for our sales team, clients and architects where your role will be to close the gap between sales identification and the specific design solutions required by our clients.

Your base will be our Showroom in Copenhagen and you must expect 30 – 40 days of travel a year.

On a daily basis you will be working closely with our Contract sales reps in Denmark, Sweden and Finland. You will report to Thomas Ellingsøe, Country Director for Denmark.

The position includes the following tasks:

Daily dialog with Kvadrat contract sales reps on active curtain and roller blind projects

Developing design and technical solutions and drafting of construction drawings – curtains and roller blinds plans

Completing calculations and cost estimates for material

Preparing and submitting correspondence, inquiries and requests for information and quotations, technical submittals, cost proposals and estimates and arranging all project documents and drawings

Ensuring that all activities and works are in accordance with the approved construction drawings, plans and details and within the provision of the technical specifications and contracts

Preparing schematic design drawings and final shop drawings for submittals and solving technical issues

Qualifications and competencies
You have a relevant educational background, for instance as an architect, as a building constructor or other technical related background. You have at least two years of experience in commercial projects – preferably with curtain and roller blind projects. The ideal candidate also has hands-on experience with design documentation, technical specifications and their implementation. In addition, you have a practical attitude in your work and like to have ongoing dialogs with architects, interior designers and end-users

You have a good sense of colours, quality, aesthetics and design. A passion for design will be an advantage

You speak Danish/Swedish and have good communications skills in English
