Yes But – Rosemarie Trockel

Cologne, 2006

In 2006, Museum Ludwig in Cologne presented a retrospective of the works of renowned contemporary artist, Rosemarie Trockel. As a part of the exhibition Trockel created an installation made from raw wool supplied by Kvadrat.

By suspending heavy woollen threads from the ceiling, Trockel created an internal space 5m high and 80cm deep. This maze of threads was interrupted by a series of cut-outs and niches that invited the viewer to enter inside.
