Foss is an upholstery textile with a vibrant yet simple expression uniting natural and man-made materials.
Three to four different melange or unicoloured yarns – in different thicknesses – are combined in each colourway. The shiny viscose and thick linen yarns give the surface of Foss a subtle shimmer. Though it is primarily made of wool, it offers the tactile dry touch usually associated with pure linen textiles.
Louise Sigvardt found inspiration in the Scandinavian landscape when developing colours for Foss. Consequently, the palette combines a variety of refined natural nuances, such as muted blues reminiscent of the rough see and misty views over deep forest greens.
