Re-wool wins the Wallpaper* Design Awards 2019 in the category 'Best repurpose'

Re-wool, designed by Danish designer Margrethe Odgaard, is crafted using 45% recycled wool, 45% new wool and 10% nylon, and is both smart and durable upholstery textile.

Reminiscent of colourful stitchings on a darker background, Re-wool features exceptional depth of colour, creating a dynamic play on the textile’s surface when applied to furniture.

From a distance the textile appears as a smooth mélange but, seen from closer-up, it reveals the vibrant, subtly nuanced details of the recycled yarn and a coarse, almost three-dimensional surface.
