We treasure colour as highly as we value collaboration. Reflecting this, we continuously refresh our approach to colour design, always striving to lead the way in this field.

We own weaving mills in England, Norway and the Netherlands; this gives us tighter control on emissions, waste and resource use throughout the whole production and design process. In keeping with our belief that longevity is at the core of sustainable design, most of our textiles come with a 10-year warranty. Our textiles are made using only the best raw materials so that they are made to last and have the least possible impact on the environment.

From the beginning, respect for the environment has been a defining pillar at Kvadrat. In 1997 Kvadrat became ISO 14001 certified, and since then we have measured and assessed the environmental impact of all our products. Our Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Environmental Product Declaration EN15804 (EPD) model follows the ISO 14040 standards for life-cycle assessment. 

We use the latest technology to enhance the quality of our products and reduce their environmental impact. The majority of our woollen products have an EU Ecolabel (EU flower), meaning their sustainable profile is best-in-class. 

We actively contribute to contemporary culture and collaborate with some of the world's greatest creative talents. Our art and design collaborations are investigations in materiality and space.
