Q: How did you start working at Kvadrat?
I started working here as an intern, and my proudest moment was when I was asked to stay. I have only worked here for three years, but at Kvadrat they trust you, and they trust that you can accomplish and fulfil your responsibilities.
I come to work, and I feel like I make a difference. You are not just replaceable, people like you for who you are, and not just for what you do.
Q: How does Kvadrat enable you to fulfil your potential?
I’m always striving to do my best every day, and on a higher level, my manager and I have a plan for my professional growth. At Kvadrat, it is always up to the individual if they want to develop their potential or if they want to take a short break and stay where they are.
Q: What makes you happy at work?
Definitely my colleagues. My colleagues mean a lot to me because I work in Customer Service, which is a very busy environment where things move really fast. Sometimes customers are dissatisfied and come really hard at you. That is why it means a lot to have colleagues who are always happy and helpful.
Even though everyone is stressed out at some point, we always have a good attitude towards each other, no matter how much pressure we are under. There is always room to make a joke or send a funny picture. People are always friendly and positive, and it really does feel like a big family.
Q: What is it like working at Kvadrat?
I think what defines Kvadrat is the people. There are so many different people here and everyone is respected for who they are. There is always room for you, whoever you are and whatever you like to do, and you have full freedom to work in the way that is best for you.
If I were to use a metaphor, I would say that working at Kvadrat is like coming to a big party where everyone is invited, and everyone can wear what they want, drink and dance how they want, and be who they want to be.
