Who Are You Really? By Jeppe Hein at Moderna Museet

Co-created by visitors, “Who are you really?” is the latest exhibition by Danish artist Jeppe Hein. Throughout Moderna Museet, visitors of all ages can engage in physical activities and sensory experiences. The on-site exhibition by Jeppe Hein consists of three parts and it is highly interactive, developed both indoors and outdoors, including spaces that are not typically intended to be used for exhibition. On the outside of the building, visitors can interact physically and influence a fountain´s spurs of water in irregular patterns. “Breathe with me” can also be experienced: the work, consisting of blue paint applied to a wave-shaped wall in vertical strokes, resemble how the human body breathes in and out and it has previously been featured at the UN Headquarters in New York in 2019.

Stepping indoors, Jeppe Hein's installation in the Museum's long corridor follows a sequence of seven rooms whose color and form correspond to the chakras used in yoga and other practices. In each room, visitors will be invited to take part in small exercises and activities, while the third part of the exhibition consists of four spaces where the audience can join workshops.

For the exhibition, Kvadrat has proudly sponsored several meters of textiles from Kvadrat curtains collection such as Zulu by Giulio Ridolfo and Time 300 by Erik Ole Jørgensen, Aggebo & Henriksen coming in different colours, and Saros by Sahco.
