At the premises of Aedas Architects in Singapore, Soft Cells panels by Kvadrat Acoustics are installed on walls and ceilings to enhance the acoustic comfort and aesthetic quality of the Interior and Architects’ offices. They support the acoustic quality and design concept, which delivers a homely, hotel-like ambience that facilitates discreet conversations.

The acoustic solution comprises Kvadrat Acoustics Soft Cells panels and Kvadrat textiles are featured in all the public areas. Kvadrat Acoustics Soft Cells Tracks panels are specified on the walls of the offices while Soft Cells Broadline panels are installed on the ceilings.

The Soft Cells Broadline panels are fitted with curved corners at each ceiling opening. To ensure seamless curvature and optimal integration of building services, the acoustic panels were installed in close consultation with the General Contractor.

Aedas worked closely with Kvadrat Acoustics and Multiline, the lighting supplier, to create custom integrated acoustic panels for most of the ceilings in the reception and meeting rooms. The collaboration also focused on ensuring that the hanging lights and acoustic panels could be precisely adjusted to the final ceiling level with equal spacing between the panels.
