Out of these worlds - 2 | PwC Melbourne

The Client Collaboration floors of Price Waterhouse Cooper's (PwC) Melbourne offices feature Kvadrat Febrik textiles. Like their equivalent at PwC’s Sydney offices, they incorporate the best ‘out of industry’ design elements of hotel, retail, airline and educational spaces.

The interior concept is focused on creating a hospitality-style space, which offers the latest technology and inspires new modes of collaboration. A context where the textiles optimise acoustic conditions and contribute towards creating a surprising, purpose-led experience.

Assorted chairs at the offices are upholstered in DivinaWaterbornGentle, and BeansRazzle Dazzle is used on tubs. Walls and screens crafted with Kvadrat Febrik Triangle complement this furniture.

Located in Riverside Quay Melbourne, the space earned an Honourable Mention in the Workspace Category at the 2018 INDE Awards. It covers 2000 sqm and comprises five levels that are connected by a stairway. This has a series of meeting ‘pods’ suspended off it. Visitors can traverse over these to gain new physical and philosophical viewpoints.

Gavin Harris, Design Director, Futurespace: “The texture of Kvadrat Febrik textiles delivers the play with light we wanted to enhance the interior design and reinforce the hotel feel of the spaces.”
