Project
Kvadrat textiles have been chosen for the seating in the internationally acclaimed Walt Disney Concert Hall, designed by Frank Gehry. The iconic building, which has been crafted to deliver an unparalleled aural and visual experience, is one of the most sophisticated concert halls in the world, and home to the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

Solution
Concert hall seating upholstered with a custom-made textile called ‘Giant Leaves’. The design features giant leaves in a large repeat, and was designed in collaboration with Gehry Partners, LLP. The chairs in the concert hall are designed by Poltrona Frau. Each one has a unique look as the 3 different colour settings of the fabric were cut randomly before being upholstered.
