Raw-Edges is a London design studio founded by Israeli designers Yael Mer and Shay Alkalay.

The duo, who studied together at the Royal College of Art, develop ideas and complement each other perfectly: While Yael Mer's focus is primarily on converting two-dimensional sheet materials into functional forms, Shay Alkalay is fascinated by the way things move and how they work and react. Her work, which is the result of tireless experiments, includes lamps, shelves, chairs, flooring and installations.
