Magniberg was founded in 2016 in Stockholm, Sweden by Bengt Thornefors, a former fashion designer, and Nina Norgren, a former florist and graphic designer. The vision and aesthetics of the founders have been deeply influenced by their experiences in fashion labels such as Saint Laurent, Kostas Murkudis, and Acne Studios. With such a background in the fashion industry and graphic design, they decided to found a brand that could offer a new perspective to bedwear, a brand allowing personal spaces to reflect the personalities that live in them.

Together with Kvadrat, the ambition is to bring complexity into bedwear with minimalistic designs, emotional aesthetics, and high quality textiles.
