Destination Wow | Hotel W
Guest bedrooms, public spaces and restaurants at the Hotel W in Dubai feature an assortment of Kvadrat textiles. They are specified in custom colours.
Several of the textiles are used to upholster a selection of Moroso furniture. Other designs are used for curtains. All meet the stringent fire regulations required at the hotel.
Hotel W Dubai takes the unique attributes of Arabic culture, as well as the picturesque location on the Palm, and melds them with the quintessential W traits: distinctive luxury and a feeling of rebelliousness. Like all W hotels, the venue is designed to push the boundaries and provide a ‘lab of creation.’
Scott Whittaker, dwp’s Group Creative Director: “The exciting challenge and opportunity with this project was to offer the unique sensual experiences of the location while maintaining that special sense of ‘W’. Wherever you are in the hotel, it should be ‘wow’. So, it was without question that we had to collaborate with Kvadrat.”
The W hotel Dubai offers 350 guest rooms and suites, the AWAY® Spa, SoBE rooftop and spectacular views over the ocean. It also hosts Torno Subito, celebrated chef Massimo Botura’s first restaurant outside Italy, and Akira Back which carries the name of the famed pro-snowboarder turned culinary master.
