Blending soothing discretion and Dutch modernism

Designed by i29 interior architects to radiate professionalism, accuracy and transparency, the refurbished Bureau Krediet Registratie, BKR, offers an open, unified landscape featuring Remix 2 in a variety of colours on both seating and custom-designed and made to measure meeting booths.

A subtle colour play of surfaces and materials connects the different objects throughout the space. Rugs match the colours of cabinet fronts, while tables and chairs are also in matching combinations. The light flooring, walls and ceiling contrast with the furniture.

The interior also includes a series of acoustically-optimised booths, which combine soft beige textiles, wood and contrasting bold coloured surfaces. The graphical play on show references traditional Dutch modernism. This facilitates conversations between employees and visitors, provides private spaces and offers excellent acoustics.

Bureau Krediet Registratie is the Dutch national credit registration centre. Located in Tiel, the registry is for Dutch citizens who wish to check mortgages, loans and debts.
