Sales Manager, Architecture & End Users (Tokyo, Japan)

We are now looking for a new Sales Manager to be based in our Tokyo Showroom to support our growing A&E business in Japan.
Job description:
Your goals will be to strengthen and develop Kvadrat’s position and visibility in the contract market in Japan, through contact with renowned architects, contract dealers, interior designers and selected end-users.
Main responsibilities include:
- Visiting and cooperating with architects and interior designers, major end-users in Japan market.
- Creating and maintaining a project portfolio
- Closing projects specified
- Project and Key Account Management
- Responsibility for the entire sales process, control of the DMU (Decision Making Unit) to ensure that the specifications will result in orders.
- Work with your Customer Service to ensure that all information is registered in system as required.
- Meet the requirements of our Global Sales Indicators (Number of Meetings, Projects, Sales Budget, etc.).
Your Profile:
- Native Japanese speaker. Business level in English, both oral and written.
- Above 5 years’ experience in contract industry in Japan market, with a solid network and proven track record in Sales.
- Strong ability to liaise with high-end architectures and designers, project managers, contractors, end-users, etc.
- Understand the business model of selling premium products.
- Ambitious, hardworking, goal-oriented, determined, and ready to dedicate yourself to Kvadrat in the long time.
- Honest, open-minded and proactive, with a great passion for work and art.
- Self-motivated and driven with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Good team player, but also could work independently.
