Our metallised textiles are finished with an ultra-fine layer of non-transparent aluminium. This enables a metallised textile to reflect up to 74% of solar radiation and prevent diffuse light transmission, while their weave characteristics remain intact. Consequently, they are highly effective at preventing heat and glare issues yet still provide access to views.
Metallised textiles create visual and thermal comfort, reducing the need for heating and cooling. Independently verified as an equivalent alternative to outdoor solar shading, in summer they reflect sunlight before it turns to heat. In winter, their aluminium coating acts as an insulator to limit heat loss and keep the cold out.
