Ulla von Brandenburg

Ulla von Brandenburg （ 1974 年ドイツ・カールスルーエ生まれ）は白黒映像、インスタレーション、パフォーマンス、スケッチ、絵画を通じて多面的な芸術活動を展開しています。 生活の拠点をパリに置き、制作活動を行っています。

近年は、Pérez Art Museum Miami（マイアミ、2016 年）、Power Plant（トロント、2016 年）、Haus Konstruktiv（チューリッヒ、2016 年） ACCA（メルボルン、2016 年）、Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis（セントルイス、2015 年）、MAMCO（ジュネーブ、2014 年）、Kunstverein Hannover（ハノーファー、2014 年）、Kunsthaus Hamburg（ハンブルグ、2013 年）、Kunsthalle Hamburg（ハンブルグ、2013 年）、The Common Guild（グラスゴー、2011 年）、Chisenhale Gallery（ロンドン、2009 年）、Irish Museum of Modern Art（ダブリン、2008 年）等で個展を開いています。

さらに、 Centre Pompidou（パリ、2016 年）、Performa 15（ニューヨーク、2015 年）、Fondation Louis Vuitton（パリ、2015 年）、MAMCO（ジュネーブ、2015 年）、CAC（ヴィリニュス、2014 年）、19th Biennale of Sydney（シドニー、2014 年）、Witte de With（ロッテルダム、2014 年）、Power Plant（トロント、2012 年）、Schirn Kunsthalle（フランクフルト、2011 年）、Museum of Contemporary Art, Detroit （デトロイト、2010 年）、Tate Modern（ロンドン、2007 年）でグループ展を開催しています。

2016 年には、Prix Marcel Duchamp 賞にノミネートされました。 そのほかにも、Finkenwerder Art Prize（2013 年）に輝いたほか、Daniel and Florence Guerlain Contemporary Art Foundation の 2013 Drawing Prize（2013 年）、Kunstpreis der Boettcherstrasse, Kunsthalle Bremen（2007 年）、Cité des Arts, Paris（2007 年）、Arbeitsstipendium Jürgen-Ponto-Stiftung （2006 年）、Reisestipendium, Verein für Neue Kunst in Hamburg（2005 年）、Begabtenstipendium der Dietzte-Stiftung（2003 年）の最終候補者にノミネートされています。
