Junior Quantity Surveyor, Singapore

We are looking for a new Junior Quantity Surveyor, to be based in our Singapore Showroom and office at Club Street, to assist our growing Acoustics business in Singapore and South-East Asia market.

You will support on the overall project delivery from pricing to completion. Continually improving quality, contractual process and documentation.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Working closely with sales & project teams to support and manage high quality product and project delivery.
• Kvadrat Acoustic team project & price analysis and support.
• Prepare and submit quotations, technical drawings, cost studies, and arrange for all project documents and drawings. Including inquiries and request for information.
• Review and analysis of tender material to estimate constructability and the relevance for applying the Company’s products and services.
• Invoicing deposits, balances, and installations.
• Ensure that project information is kept up to date on the system.
• Warehouse inventory updates
• Ad hoc support to office team

Your Profile:

• Quality driven, detailed orientated and well organized in all decision making.
• Honest, patient, open mind and proactive, a great passion for work, flexible and willing to learn.
• Self-motivated and driven with a strong sense of responsibility and good team ethics.
• Can work independently, also a good team player.
• Adaptable and flexible to the changing demands of the position.
• Good communication and coordination skill.
• Passion for design and art is a PLUS.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

• O’ Level/Diploma/Degree.
• Specialized in understanding interior fit-out drawings, to capture the vision and the design of the designer involved.
• Knowledge and understanding of the construction process from sales to execution to after sales service.
• Familiar with supply chain, delivery processes and execution.
• 1-3 years working experience / contracting related working experience in commercial projects is a PLUS.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Words and Powerpoint.
• Fluent in English both oral and written, Mandarin Speaking is a PLUS.
