Sustainability Advocacy

We believe it is only possible to transition to a more sustainable future through empowerment, ownership and collective global action. We strive to enable systemic change in order to support the United Nations Sustainability Development Goal 17, Partnership For The Goal.

Sustainability must underpin everything we do. To enable this we will establish knowledge sharing and governance structures that equip our employees, suppliers and customers with the understanding to contribute to the change.

Our 2024 performance highlights

Accelerating supplier engagement for lower impact textiles

In 2024, we launched the Sustainability Supplier Ambassador program. This initiative includes nine key suppliers who will collaborate with us to set shared sustainability targets and participate in workshops on science-based targets and EPD certification in 2025. This project supports our commitment to reducing impact across our value chain, achieving our net-zero ambitions, and expanding our product certifications, such as the EU Ecolabel.

Sustainability Reporting advancement

In 2021, we launched various training networks, including three Kvadrat Change Maker Networks. In 2024, we trained 89 people through 29 workshops across all networks and established a CSRD Task Force with six employees from key departments to build reporting expertise within Kvadrat´s material ESRS standards. Through various CSRD workshops, we equipped these colleagues with an essential understanding of CSRD. Next, we will refine our learning program to align with organizational needs, with the CSRD Task Force taking a central role in developing reporting expertise.
