Steelcut Beat is the latest iteration of the iconic Steelcut. The textile is a durable checked upholstery coloured by Giulio Ridolfo coming into different size checks, ‘ribbon’ and ‘grid’. The vibrant colours in combination with the materiality of the pattern create a distinctive eye-cathing effect.

Steelcut Beat is crafted according to Conscious Design principles as it is constructed from 100% recycled yarns. It has a sophisticated design, drawing on Giulio Ridolfo’s extensive history of collaborating with prestigious fashion brands.

The ribbons and grid checks give Steelcut Beat a distinct vibrancy and a tactile multidimensional expression. Recalling fine tailoring on trench coats, the textile can be said to be ‘worn’ by furniture.

Steelcut Beat's colour palette is characterised by playful and intriguing nuances that intertwine and change based on the viewer´s perspective.

The textile features the same innovative, intricate binding by Frans Dijkmeijer as Steelcut 3, Steelcut Trio, and Steelcut Quartet. Consequently, it has a precise, rhythmic checked surface, resembling small pyramids or steel points.
