Our outdoor textiles are designed with a focus on minimising environmental impact. Like all Kvadrat textiles, our outdoor collection is PFAS-free, ensuring exceptional weather resistance and long-lasting durability.
Our outdoor textiles have an outstanding soft touch complemented by a fluorocarbon-free finish that efficiently repels water, ensures rapid drying, and withstands chlorine, seawater, and artificial weathering. Moreover, unlike conventional technical weatherproof fabrics, our outdoor textiles are made using recycled polyester or a specially developed Trevira CS yarn, to minimise their impact on the environment, without compromising performance.
Azure Outdoor
The latest addition to our range of outdoor textiles is Margrethe Odgaard’s Azure Outdoor. It features a poetic colour palette, crafted to evoke a sense of light and colour within outdoor environments, complementing rather than overshadowing natural and architectural elements.
Pioneering PFAS-free textiles
Our outdoor collection is a testament to our continuous research into alternatives to conventional chemical substances and treatments. We have achieved remarkable results, leading the way in 2018 with the launch of Patio Outdoor, our first outdoor textile that moved away from PFAS textile impregnation. In 2024, we have taken the decisive step to make all our products completely free from PFAS, ensuring proactive communication with suppliers and rigorous testing.
